The short version: your financial data is stored securely in your Erisai account and synced across your devices, with an optional backup in your own Google Drive. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.

What data we collect

Financial data (transactions, accounts, budgets): stored in your Erisai account on our secure cloud servers, which is the primary copy and keeps your data in sync across every device you sign in on. A copy is also cached on your device (browser local storage) so the App works offline.

Google account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google display name, email address, and profile photo. This is used only to personalise your experience. We do not share it with any third party.

Usage analytics: Erisai does not use any third-party analytics SDK, session recording, or ad-tracking service. We do log basic first-party usage events to our own servers — for example which features get used, or when a logging streak breaks — to guide product decisions. This is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Error reporting: when something goes wrong, technical error details are kept in a short local log on your device so you can choose to send a report to support (via WhatsApp or copy/paste) if you hit a bug. Nothing is sent automatically without you choosing to send it.

How your data is stored

Your financial data (transactions, account balances, categories, budgets, recurring items) is stored in your Erisai account on our secure cloud servers — the primary copy. It is also cached on your device (browser local storage) so the App works offline, and — optionally, if you turn it on — backed up to your own Google Drive.

When you enable Drive backup, your data is written to a file in your own Google Drive account. Erisai reads and writes that file using a token you grant. The file is named erisai-data.json and sits inside a folder called "Erisai Backup" — it is not visible to other apps unless you explicitly share it.

Your account record is stored on our secure cloud servers, operated for us by a third-party cloud hosting provider under contractual security and data-processing terms.

Google sign-in and Drive

Erisai uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication and Google Drive API (drive.file scope) for optional cloud backup. When you sign in:

We request your basic profile (name, email, photo) and, if you enable sync, access to files created by Erisai in your Drive.
We never request access to your full Drive, Gmail, or other Google services.
You can revoke Erisai's Google access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Erisai's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Third-party services

Erisai uses the following external services:

Our cloud hosting provider: stores and syncs your Erisai account data on our behalf, under contractual security and data-processing terms.
Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev): fetches live exchange rates from the European Central Bank. No personal data is sent — only the currency pair request.
Google Fonts: loads the Poppins typeface. Google's standard font privacy policy applies.
Xendit (Pro subscribers only): handles payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Xendit's privacy policy governs payment data — Erisai does not store card numbers or payment credentials.
An AI receipt-reading service (Split Bill only): when you scan a receipt photo in Split Bill, the photo is sent to this service only to read the items and total — Erisai does not store the photo.

No advertising networks, tracking pixels, or social media SDKs are included in Erisai.

Children

Erisai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Terms of use

By using Erisai, you agree to the following terms.

Beta software: Erisai is in active development. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable. We make no guarantee of data persistence during the beta period — turning on the optional Google Drive backup, or exporting a JSON copy from Backup & restore, gives you your own extra copy.

Acceptable use: Erisai is for personal financial tracking. Do not use it for illegal activities, financial fraud, or any purpose that violates applicable Indonesian law.

No financial advice: Erisai is a journaling and tracking tool. Nothing in the app constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional for those needs.

Intellectual property: Erisai's code, design, and branding are the property of Aida Creative Lab. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative products without written permission.

Liability: Erisai is provided as-is. Aida Creative Lab is not liable for any financial loss, data loss, or damages arising from the use of Erisai during the beta period.

Changes: We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or our Instagram. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
